PitchLock Keybed Support Ribs are tri-laminated, crowned wooden ribs which, when fastened to the bottom of a piano keybed, apply significant upward force to the unsupported center region. This produces a more rigid platform beneath the action. resulting in improved touch quality. They can be installed beneath either the balance rail or front rail. Multiple support ribs add even additional support.

As shown in the photos, keybed rib supports are (#1) fastened at one end, then (#2) pressed into position at the other end using your knee. Once positioned, the second end is fastened. Available in black, brown and unfinished.
